We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in food safety and quality. This commitment is reflected in our recent achievements in the BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) certification.  

What is BRCGS? 

BRCGS is a globally recognised certification that sets rigorous standards for food safety, packaging, storage, and distribution. Originally known as the British Retail Consortium, BRCGS helps companies demonstrate their dedication to producing safe, high-quality products. The certification covers various aspects of food production, including hygiene, traceability, and risk management, providing assurance to consumers and stakeholders alike. 

 

Our Food and Drink Storage and Transport Capabilities 

At Howard Tenens Logistics, we pride ourselves on our extensive capabilities in food and drink storage and transport. We understand the unique challenges of handling perishable and long-life products, ensuring they are stored and transported under optimal conditions to maintain their quality and safety. Our services include: 

  • Temperature-controlled storage: Ensuring products are kept at the right temperature to preserve their quality. This includes a range of temperature options including ambient, chilled, and frozen storage. We also offer humidity-controlled chambers for products requiring specific environmental conditions.
  • Efficient transport solutions: Minimising transport times to extend shelf life and meet last-minute delivery requirements. 
  • Comprehensive certifications: Holding industry accreditations such as BRCGS, Organic Certification (including Soil Association certification), various ISO certificates, ROSPA Gold Standard, and many more.

Year-on-Year BRCGS Success for the Ashby Team 

Our Ashby team recently retained their AA BRCGS grade for another year. This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our team members.  

Sunbury Site’s Continued Excellence 

The team at Sunbury has shown remarkable adaptability, accommodating new customers and implementing new certification requirements during a period of significant changes. They have also achieved and maintained an AA grade.
