Environmentally Friendly Dexeco Lighting

 Stroud, Glos. August 2009 –  Howard Tenens are committed to working with all customers to reduce their carbon footprint. As utility bills are one of the greatest forms of expenditure in running a warehouse and lighting often accounts for a considerable proportion of the overall warehouse costs, we have chosen Dexeco Lighting as an alternative source of energy that delivers both environmental and economic benefits.

 

  

Howard Tenens embarked on a research campaign 12 months ago to identify the best form of environmentally friendly lighting which would significantly reduce our customers’ energy bills. We finally chose Dexeco for their innovative approach, projected ROI payback and product warranty commitment.

 

Howard Tenens also felt that the quality of Dexeco’s light fitting was superior to their competitors as well as offering better value for money. The greatest benefit of Dexeco’s solution came from their remote control feature which enables the end user to simply change the light settings to suit the individual contract or warehouse requirements.

 

HT initially embarked on a trial within one of the warehouses for an organic food company. The resulting energy savings were so significant that we were then able to recommend the benefits of Dexeco’s environmentally friendly lighting to our other blue chip customers.

 

Howard Tenens are delighted with the savings achieved so far. We expect to save a 40% reduction in the cost of our lighting expenditure. Although there was a significant investment in terms of labour and lighting the payback period is projected, on current performance, at less than 3 years for the return on investment.
